Meet the Team

Dr. Cooper Hove
Ph.D., Industrial & Organization Psychology
Dr. Cooper Hove earned a Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from Liberty University. She earned her Master of Science in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Dakota.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Southwest Baptist University. Dr. Hove has previously provided crisis counseling, evidence-based interventions to at-risk individuals, and mental health triage care for individuals in immediate crisis. Dr. Hove has also worked with special populations and has training in administering cognitive and clinical assessments. She has contributed to research about mental health in the workplace and ways to incorporate more resources into employees.

Samantha Matthews
Psychology Assistant
Samantha earned a master's degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology from Montclair State University. She will also be attending a doctoral program in the fall to work towards earning her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
She earned a Bachelor of the Arts in both Psychology and Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and has training in cognitive, clinical, and forensic psychological assessment.
She completed her master's level externship at a mental health clinic within a middle school, where she completed cognitive assessments and held counseling sessions with students. She has also contributed a lot of her time to research, specifically in topics surrounding Dialectical Behavior Therapy for reentry populations and the relationship between food insecurity and eating disorder behaviors in college students. Within the practice she has been working with both veterans and non-veterans, administering psychological testing, neuropsychological testing, and psychotherapy.

Jasmin Appolon
Psychology Assistant
Jasmine is currently attending a doctoral program at Albizu University to earn her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Furthermore, she has earned a Master of Science in Psychology from Albizu University.
She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida. In addition, she has completed practicum at two mental health clinics, specializing in diverse populations (children and adults), in which she administered psychological testing and psychotherapy.

Kyla Reynolds
Administrative Assistant
Kyla earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Tennessee. Her experience in human resources has given her the opportunity to work in professional environments where management, psychology and advocacy were combined to help others.
She has also served within non-profit organizations that aided businesses with projects in the community to help bring a positive change through grant support and by offering health educational programs.
