Geropsychology Services
and Medicare in Gulf Breeze

Geropsychology Services in Gulf Breeze address many biopsychosocial problems encountered by older adults and their families. These problems may include mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, dementia, changes in decision making, everyday living abilities, and behavioral/lifestyle changes. Caregiver support is also part of Geropsychology in where emotional support and guidance is provided for families, spouses, or any other adult providing care for an adult 65 years and older. To address some of these common issues individual or group therapy is provided to assist with adjustments related to aging or end-of-life stages. Capacity evaluations may also address some common problems that result from various neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and Huntington's Disease.

Very often the hardest part of addressing any challenge in life is simply jumping in and getting started. The good news is that you don't need to know where to start or what questions to ask initially. That's why many people find it helpful to receive clinical support from an understanding, informed psychologist who can help you identify exactly what's going on and give you the advice to help.

Contact Clinical Psychology Services today for an initial consultation. We are a participating Medicare provider and seek to empower you in overcoming previously overwhelming problems or difficulties!

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. If you cannot make a change, change the way you have been thinking. You might find a new solution."
