Dr. Tatiana C. Grant is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing services in Gulf Breeze, Florida and Midtown, New York City, She earned a Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology from Albizu University in Doral, Florida (APA accredited University). 

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.  Dr. Grant completed an APA accredited doctoral internship at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan and an APA accredited Psychology Fellowship at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Grant has specialized training experience in Geropsychology which addresses many biopsychosocial problems encountered by older adults and their families. These problems may include mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, dementia, changes in decision making, everyday living abilities and behavioral/lifestyle changes. Caregiver support is also part of Geropsychology in where emotional support and guidance is provided for families, spouses or any other adult providing care for an adult 65 years and older. Dr. Grant has experience in conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders and providing adjunctive interventions for the treatment of medical conditions. During her training across VA facilities she also provided psychological services in Spinal Cord Injury units to patients with a full range of injuries including newly injured patients admitted for acute care and rehabilitation.

Dr. Grant has a positive psychology approach to treatment that was fostered during Fellowship where she developed a program consisting of positive psychology activities. Her program was developed to help improve functioning and well-being, promote positive experiences in late life, reduce depressive symptoms and learn more about the positive model of successful aging. Dr. Grant believes in empowering her clients to make long-term changes that help improve overall well-being. In her private practice Dr. Grant continues to implement Positive Psychology approaches that are integrated with clinical hypnosis and evidence-based practices.
